I have worked in healthcare for almost two decades. Since 2007, I have worked for the largest public health sector in Arizona.  I began my healthcare career as a certified nursing assistant. I continued my education and completed my associates degree through the Bilingual Nursing Program at Phoenix College.  In 2009, I became a registered nurse. I decided to keep advancing my education by enrolling at Grand Canyon University to complete both my bachelor's and master's degrees. Now, I am a bilingual master's prepared family nurse practitioner.

I am an Arizona native, originally from Somerton, AZ. My grandfather brought our familia to the United States in the late 1960's to work in agriculture. I am who I am today because of the hardworking migrant farm working women and men who raised me. Never a dull moment en la casa grande!   Even when we faced difficult times, the love our familia nurtured, paved the way.

I've been blessed with countless opportunities to grow and challenge myself as a healthcare provider.  I understand that healthcare is very challenging, and I would like to take the opportunity to help you and your loved ones with all your healthcare needs.  As a nurse practitioner, I take a holistic approach in addressing preventive health, disease management/progression, mental health, and physical well being.

I love all things Arizona, even the heat!!  In my downtime, I enjoy hiking , biking, all things water, laughing, and eating with loved ones.  I am a lover of most music and enjoy shouting out some tunes from time to time.  Diane, my love child is my reason!  I am motivated and driven to show her that our journey will not be perfect but filled with challenges, love, and adventures.  She's stuck with me.  Our home and family includes our three pups: Kiwi, Senor Pepino, and Zane (dachshunds and a pit bull mix).

I look forward to meeting and working with you and your family for all your healthcare needs.
